Marvelous Thinkers Welcome
Aspen Elementary School 2018/2019
Teachers and parents! This is for you, well, for your kid. You won't believe some of these reading nooks. Here are some great ideas on how to spice up your reading space or spaces (over achiever!)
The classic teepee is obviously a favorite. Easy to pick one of these up on the internet, throw in a couple pillows, a small round rug, string lights and you've set up the ultimate place for reading wonder!
Is this not the best thing you've ever seen? It's not like you don't have extra camping stuff laying around. Some chairs from Target and some trees you can find some multi-talented teacher to help you make. I just love this one.
I've always wanted to have a canoe in my classroom. Throw some pillows in it and it seems like a great place to cozy up. I haven't seen any I can snatch up yet, but if you beat me to it, you should definitely give this one a try.
Kelly OBranovic has spent years in first grade teaching kids to read! It's one of her favorite things to do!
For quite some time now, Sara Reveal has been teaching at Aspen Elementary School--and loves it! She has taught first and second grades in the past, and now enjoys teaching literacy. While being passionate about helping children find their love of learning, Sara is especially determined to help students cultivate a feeling of joy and wonder when reading.
Lauren loves everything that has to do with kids and numbers! Her motto... "Math, No Problem!"
