Flashlight Friday!

Looking for something to do this Friday that's a little different? Spend IDR time with the lights off in a space in the school where it's nice and dark. Have students bring in a flashlight from home until you can order a set of your own and read with their Flashlight! Read independently or with a partner!

Meet Kelly!

Kelly OBranovic has spent years in first grade teaching kids to read! It's one of her favorite things to do! Now she works as a reading specialist at AES! She is a lover of books, all ages, all kinds. They're a work of art!

Meet Sara!

For quite some time now, Sara Reveal has been teaching at Aspen Elementary School--and loves it! She has taught first and second grades in the past, and now enjoys teaching literacy. While being passionate about helping children find their love of learning, Sara is especially determined to help students cultivate a feeling of joy and wonder when reading.
