Kinder Mystery Cups

While pushing in, we get to try out all kinds of new fun centers. Miss. Kay's class worked on identifying letters and sounds with their mystery cups. Fill a cup or bag with all kinds of different letters and have students pull one out, identify the letter and sound! Print out a list of letters in order (easier) or out of order (harder) and have students identify the letter that way too, then color it, or use paint dotters.

Meet Kelly!

Kelly OBranovic has spent years in first grade teaching kids to read! It's one of her favorite things to do! Now she works as a reading specialist at AES! She is a lover of books, all ages, all kinds. They're a work of art!

Meet Sara!

For quite some time now, Sara Reveal has been teaching at Aspen Elementary School--and loves it! She has taught first and second grades in the past, and now enjoys teaching literacy. While being passionate about helping children find their love of learning, Sara is especially determined to help students cultivate a feeling of joy and wonder when reading.
